Mikhail Vetrov becomes the head of Linxdatacenter

Mikhail Vetrov was appointed the general director of Linxdatacenter on 8 November 2022. His key task will be strategic management of the company with a focus on further development of data centers in the current and future regions of presence, upscaling of cloud services and entering new customer segments with the goal of increasing the company's presence on the market and turnover growth.

Andrey Perekrest, the previous director of Linxdatacenter, continues his work in the company in the position of the technical director and concentrates on infrastructure development and operational management. The company thanks Andrey Perekrest for his contribution to the strengthening of engineering and IT infrastructure in the current challenging economic situation, development of the team and services.

Mikhail Vetrov has more than 20 years of experience in strategic and operational management of Russian branches of international companies and large Russian companies with distributed teams. Since 2018 till recent Mikhail Vetrov was the vice president of Fleetcor Eastern Europe, the leading global service provider in the field of corporate payments, where he was responsible for current operations, launch of new digital channels and communications with customers, agile transformation of the company, which contributed to exponential business growth and doubling the speed of new products’ launch on the market.

Since 2013 till 2017 Mikhail already headed Linxdatacenter. Under his leadership, the company doubled in size, the Moscow data center was upgraded, rack space increased twofold, almost 100% of data center resources were engaged by new customers, and the LinxCloud platform was put into commercial operation.
