Linxdatacenter doubles the team of cloud engineers

With steady growth of demand for cloud services, LinxCloud is one of the key assets of the provider. In the first half of 2022 Linxdatacenter has increased its computing capacity by 30% and its storage resources in the cloud by 50, in response to the growing needs of the business.

“Our cloud team has been strengthened to guarantee reliability and fault-tolerance of available resources in the cloud, as well as to develop new areas and solutions. Now we are facing an ambitious task of launching our own cloud platform based on an open-source solution,” says Dmitry Shchegolkov, Head of the Integration Department of Linxdatacenter.

The business plan of Linxdatacenter for 2022-2023 included increase of server capacities and expansion of the team: both goals have already been achieved.

Currently the team is focused on development of cloud products in the field of data storage and processing, as well as solutions aimed at strengthening information security.

Linxdatacenter’s analysts forecast that demand for Russian cloud services among local customers will grow by a third in 2022, in comparison to the previous year. The key tasks of the cloud department of the company are support of currently provided services while maintaining the high SLA level, and development of new solutions meeting the customers’ business needs.
